Get ready for a hilarious opossum meme dump. Opossums are cute little scavengers and scour human homes to raid garbage cans. So if you wake up to a small scuffling sound one night and are afraid that a raccoon managed to get into your home, you might be surprised to find out that it's actually an opossum! They love grass, nuts, fruit, and again, the food we throw into the trash. They have earned quite an infamous name, as most people don't particularly enjoy it when these fluffy critters raid their homes. If you chance upon them, and they appear to be immobile, fear not, for most likely they are simply "playing possum".
